Ice Fishing!

Ice Fishing - yes you heard correctly! It was so cold down in Wales last week that we broke out the ice screw and fished through the ice eskimo style!

The fish must have been frozen stiff too because we drew a blank!

No seriously we were up in the arctic in Norway and we just had to have a go! It sure is different to what we are used to. Think jigging with a babies fishing rod down a drain pipe in  the freezing cold and thats about the experience wrapped up!

The ice drill has razor sharp blades and cuts a neat 4 inch diameter hole through the ice, in this case 3ft thick! You sloosh out the slush with the drill and hey presto a hole to fish through!
